We started by prototyping a fold-flat desk stand with interlocking tabs, no glue, no fuss. After a few iterations, we landed on a sturdy triangle structure that looked sharp and held up over time. Printed on durable 350gsm Silk Matt board in full colour, these stands were diecut to shape, then packed flat and ready for assembly. It’s a clean, effective format that suits everything from hot desks to home offices.

These “Huitīma” and “Huitopa” stands became popular fast. The first 500 were a giveaway and they disappeared almost overnight. Because Te Taura Whiri doesn’t sell its resources, they added a simple note to their website: if your organisation wants printed sets, contact Colourcraft.
