Stuff Digital approached us to produce a large-format oversized cheque for a public award presentation as part of the Stuff Art Aotearoa Gold Award. The brief was simple: create a professional, visually clear cheque suitable for stage use and photography, delivered in time for a fixed presentation date.

The supplied artwork needed some technical adjustment to work at scale, so we reviewed the files early and flagged resolution limitations before production. We guided the client on appropriate sizing and proportions, ensuring the artwork was scaled correctly without distortion and prepared a clean PDF proof for approval. With clear communication and quick sign-off, the project moved smoothly into production.

The cheque was printed at 1200 × 540mm using our HP Latex 365, which produces sharp, consistent results with water-based, odour-free inks—ideal for indoor event use. It was printed one-sided in CMYK onto Avery Dennison MPI 2904 white gloss permanent vinyl, mounted to a 4mm paylite panel, and trimmed neatly to size. The finished piece was collected on schedule and used as intended for the presentation.
