Kingsley Attwood, a photographer and designer with a bold, creative vision, came to us with something truly unique: a full set of custom-designed playing cards, with each of the 52 cards featuring its own illustration. Kingsley had already poured a ton of work into the design and needed a print partner who could bring it to life with care, precision, and premium quality.

We provided tailored guidance to help Kingsley prepare the artwork for production, covering how to build bleed, organise file sequencing and format everything correctly using Photoshop (which isn’t exactly known for being print-friendly). We reviewed initial layouts, offered practical advice and ensured every file was press-ready before kicking off production. Clear communication and upfront planning made the process smooth, even with a project as detailed as this one.

The final sets were printed on our Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4070, chosen for its pinpoint accuracy and consistent colour output. We used a durable 300gsm satin stock and applied a scuff-resistant laminate to give the cards a premium feel and long-lasting finish. Each card was then precision-cut on our digital die-cutter to ensure exact sizing and alignment across the set.
