Since 2018, we’ve partnered with Brave Brewing Co. a standout Hawke’s Bay craft brewery known for flavour-forward beers and a strong local following. They needed a print partner who could consistently produce high-quality vinyl tap badges, with precision, speed and colour accuracy — every time.

So far, we’ve delivered on 27 separate orders, producing thousands of custom tap badges for over 50 different beers. From seasonal one-offs to award-winning flagships, these badges are a core part of Brave’s bar presentation. We’re proud to have become a trusted extension of their production process.

Each badge is printed on translucent vinyl, purpose-built for backlit bar hardware. This matters, many breweries use opaque vinyl that kills the glow. Our process allows the tap badge to light up on the tap, without washing out the artwork. We dial in the colour balance to ensure it looks just as good backlit as it does in ambient light.

We print using our Roland XR-640, a high-resolution, eco-solvent machine perfect for vibrant, consistent output. Once printed, each badge is kiss-cut to 73mm, weeded and supplied in sheets of 12 ready to go.
